Each month, we will feature educational resources on the NAAFA Community Voices Blog to support our community in taking action to combat racism. Some resources will be historic information about systemic racism. Others will be resources on doing the internal work of understanding ourselves and how we play a part in that system. This month we're sharing some pieces about anti-racism in arts and entertainment.

The Boston Globe featured a piece about how Dr. Phillipe Copeland created a guide to tell if a film or tv show is antiracist

The LA Times has a piece discussing Raggaeton's colorism problem and how writers and critics are fighting back against racism & anti-blackness.

Mashable published a piece on Why 'identifies as Asian' is a valid descriptor for Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh and how many performers of color have felt forced to deny their cultural heritages and pass as white.

Esquire compiled a list of 20 Films that Celebrate Black America. While the list was compiled for Black History Month, it's good for year-round watching.
