What is Funded by my Contribution?
At NAAFA, we envision a culture where all fat people are free, celebrated, and liberated from every form of oppression. Your contributions aid our work toward that future.
Contributions to our general fund allow our Board of Directors to make decisions about how to best use funding. General donations go to funding programs such as the NAAFA Webinar Series, the monthly NAAFA Newsletter, the NAAFA Community Voices blog, creation/update of our NAAFA brochures and fact sheets, as well as enabling us to fund new programs.

Search the web, shop online, or dine out and raise money for NAAFA through Goodsearch and Goodshop – all at no cost to you! It’s simple to DO GOOD! Sign up and designate NAAFA as the charity you support.
GIVE TO NAAFA THROUGH PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS
If your employer allows for charitable contributions to be made through payroll deduction, check to see if NAAFA qualifies for their program. Some employers will even match your contribution. It’s a win-win!
CREATE A SOCIAL MEDIA FUNDRAISER
Facebook and Instagram Fundraisers allow any NAAFA supporter to invite their friends to give to NAAFA. These fundraisers are easy to create! Community members who choose to use their annual birthday fundraiser to gather donations from friends raised thousands of dollars.
